Pauper Posh

A design manifesto about resourceful interiors, found beauty, and creating luxury without breaking the bank.

Pauper Posh is a design manifesto about making beauty from what is available: rescued furniture, odd objects, hand-me-downs, paint, fabric, light, arrangement, and imagination. It rejects the idea that style depends on luxury, and instead treats limitation as a creative force.

At its heart, Pauper Posh is about dignity, wit, and atmosphere. It is for anyone who wants a home that feels personal, layered, and alive — not because everything is expensive, but because everything has been noticed, chosen, repaired, repurposed, or loved into place.

Richard Mueller has always been full of joy.

A native Californian, Rich now lives with his husband and computer under the majestic redwoods of Sonoma County, fueled by a deep love of doughnuts; he transmutes ideas from the ether into our realm on time and under budget.
